Vitto (the Italian word for Food) is our very own weight loss group. We put it together as a large percentage of our Members join to lose fat. We have helped them with the exercise part for many years, and now we need to help them with their nutrition.
Is low-carb healthy?
Many people think they’re eating a ‘healthy’ diet, when in fact they’re not. The majority of the population over consume carbohydrates on a daily basis which not only leads to an increase in bodyfat, but can also lead to other health issues. As well as overeating carbs they tend not to eat enough fat and protein, mainly because of so many misconceptions.
What's the main principle of the course?
The overriding principle of Vitto is to reduce an individual’s carbohydrate intake down to 100g per day – we explain the why and the how during the talks.
How much is the course?
These 6 week courses are FREE to members of Odyssey Health Club.
We present our education topics on a Wednesday at 7pm in the café bar. There is an ebook and food list to accompany the education. Additionally there are a number of recipes on this website.There is a Vitto facebook group you can join were we post articles and can support our members.
